Based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, Da Da Dan is an anime rooted in sci-fi and horror. Momo Ayase is a girl with an affinity for ghosts and spirits, having come from a family of mediums. Ken Takakura, aka Okarun, believes in aliens but not ghosts. To determine who is right, Momo visits an abandoned hospital with supernatural occurrences while Okarun goes to a haunted tunnel.

Unfortunately for each person, they are both right, as ghosts and aliens exist in both places. Furthermore, Momo and Okarun develop powers and face off against paranormal forces. Da Da Dan is a sci-fi anime, but there’s also a love story between Momo and Okarun that will attract rom-com fans.

Ali Wong is coming off a banner year in 2023. The comedian soared to new heights with Beef, Netflix’s black comedy series, which dominated at the Emmys. Wong became the first Asian woman to win a lead acting Emmy. Best known for his stand-up comedy, the San Francisco comedian filmed her fourth original comedy special for Netflix, Single Lady.

The special was filmed during Wong’s residency at The Wiltern in Los Angeles at Netflix Is A Joke Fest. In Single Lady, Wong riffs about re-entering the dating scene after divorcing her husband of 10 years in 2022. However, Wong remains good friends with her ex, something she jokes about in the special. Wong’s special feels like a therapy session with jokes, as she opens up about trying to find love again.

In 1989, brothers Erik and Lyle Menéndez walked into their family home and murdered their parents, José and Kitty. Years later, they were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. Since then, the brothers have maintained their innocence, saying they killed José in self-defense after years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Kitty was allegedly complicit in the abuse, so the boys killed her, too.

This notorious case is dramatized in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez star as Erik and Lyle Menéndez, while Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny play José and Kitty. Are the brothers the monsters the public propped them up to be, or is there more to the story?

Love is Blind is back for season 7. Netflix’s dating experiment welcomes 30 new singles to the pods as they search for love. The singles try to form relationships by talking to each other through a speaker. When the daters make a connection, they can extend a marriage proposal.

If a marriage proposal is accepted, the contestants can finally meet each other face-to-face. After a couples retreat and a multiweek stint living together, it all comes down to the wedding. Will the couples go through with the marriage or end the engagement? New episodes will be released every Wednesday this month, with the finale airing on October 23.

Joanne (Bell) is an agnostic woman who hosts a sex and relationship podcast with her sister, Morgan (Justine Lupe). Noah (Brody) is a kind, attractive rabbi. Joanne and Noah meet at a friend’s dinner party and instantly hit it off. Their courtship eventually turns into a relationship.
